Terms and Consequences
1. Introduction
These Terms and Consequences govern the use of the Envirdian platform, including the student application, teacher dashboard, learning materials, interactive tools, and all related services provided by WardLin AB. By accessing or using Envirdian, users acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms. Envirdian is designed for schools, teachers, legal guardians, and pupils aged 8 to 12 and must always be used in accordance with applicable laws and school guidelines.
2. User Responsibilities
2.1 Teachers and School Administrators
Teachers and authorised school personnel are responsible for:
- • Ensuring pupils use the platform appropriately.
- • Managing classroom access, accounts, and lesson settings.
- • Communicating with pupils in line with safeguarding and school policies.
- • Reporting any technical issues or inappropriate behaviour to WardLin AB.
2.2 Pupils
Pupils must:
- • Use Envirdian solely for educational purposes.
- • Follow instructions provided by teachers or guardians.
- • Use respectful and proper language in all interactive features.
- • Refrain from attempting to bypass restrictions or manipulate data.
2.3 Legal Guardians
Parents and guardians must:
- • Ensure their child uses the platform responsibly.
- • Contact the school or WardLin AB if concerns regarding privacy or use arise.
3. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- • Upload or share harmful, offensive, or discriminatory content.
- • Interfere with the platform's operation or attempt to access restricted areas.
- • Modify, reverse-engineer, or copy platform components.
- • Misuse AI features or interactive tools in a way that may harm others or distort learning outcomes.
- • Use Envirdian for commercial, political, or non-educational purposes without prior written consent from WardLin AB.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Any of the following actions constitute a violation:
- • Providing false identity or impersonating others.
- • Attempting to collect personal data about other users.
- • Circumventing security features or attempting unauthorised entry.
- • Uploading malware, scripts, or harmful files.
- • Harassing, bullying, or intimidating other users in any form.
- • Sharing login information or accessing another user's account.
5. Data Accuracy and User Content
- • All contributions made by pupils, teachers, or users on the platform must be truthful and respectful.
- • WardLin AB is not responsible for inaccurate or misleading information submitted by users.
- • Envirdian may remove or edit any content that violates these Terms.
6. Monitoring and Safety
- • Envirdian includes protective measures and AI moderation to enhance safety, but no system is perfect.
- • Schools are responsible for supervising pupil activity within their own classrooms.
- • WardLin AB may monitor usage patterns to improve performance, user safety, and compliance.
7. Consequences of Breach
In the event of a violation of these Terms, WardLin AB or the relevant school may apply one or more of the following actions:
7.1 Immediate Actions
- • Removal of inappropriate content.
- • Temporary suspension of the pupil or teacher account.
- • Restricted access to specific features or tools.
- • Notification to teachers, school administrators, or legal guardians.
7.2 Administrative Actions
- • Permanent deactivation of an account where misuse is serious or repeated.
- • Refusal to provide future access to the platform or related services.
- • Reporting of unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities if required by law.
7.3 Technical Measures
- • Blocking IP addresses involved in harmful or suspicious activity.
- • Applying additional verification or security steps for affected accounts.
WardLin AB reserves the right to determine the appropriate consequence depending on the severity, frequency, and context of the breach.
8. Platform Availability and Changes
- • WardLin AB strives to maintain consistent access to Envirdian but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- • Features may be updated or removed as part of continuous improvement.
- • Changes to these Terms may occur, and users will be informed when relevant.
9. Limitation of Liability
- • Envirdian is provided for educational use, and WardLin AB is not liable for interruptions, loss of data, or indirect damages unless required by mandatory law.
- • Schools are responsible for supervising and guiding pupil behaviour on the platform.
- • WardLin AB is not liable for consequences arising from user-generated content or improper use of the platform.
10. Compliance with GDPR and School Policies
- • All data processing is carried out in accordance with EU GDPR and Swedish data protection law.
- • Schools act as Data Controllers, and WardLin AB acts as Data Processor under a Data Processing Agreement.
- • Personal data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for unrelated purposes.
- • Users have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of data as permitted by law.
11. Intellectual Property
- • All content, design, software code, graphics, lessons, and tools in Envirdian are owned by WardLin AB.
- • No part of the platform may be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without written permission.
12. Termination of Access
WardLin AB may suspend or terminate access to any user who breaches these Terms or where the school or legal guardian requests removal. Termination does not affect obligations relating to confidentiality or intellectual property.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Consequences are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute shall be resolved by Swedish courts, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
